Ivamari is built around one simple idea: getting dressed should feel enjoyable.
We love bold print, strong colour and clothing with personality, but we also believe clothes should be easy to wear and easy to live in. That is why our collections focus on distinctive African print and Ankara styles in silhouettes that can move between everyday life, work, church, celebrations, holidays and special occasions.
We are not interested in filling the store with hundreds of nearly identical designs. Ivamari is being built gradually, with considered prints, useful silhouettes and small batches that give each collection room to develop properly.
Clothing With Personality
African wax print already brings so much to a garment.
The colour, pattern and structure of the fabric can completely change a familiar silhouette, whether it is a wrap dress, shirt dress, matching set or statement top.
Our aim is to let that character come through without making the clothes feel difficult to wear. Some pieces are bold. Some are relaxed. Some are made for occasions. What connects them is that they should still feel like clothes you can genuinely enjoy wearing.

No two wardrobes look exactly the same, and neither do women.
That is why Ivamari includes different silhouettes, lengths and levels of structure rather than expecting one shape to work for everyone.

Built Slowly, On Purpose
We are building Ivamari for the long term.
That means introducing new prints and designs gradually, learning what our customers enjoy wearing and allowing the collection to grow without rushing simply to make the store look bigger.
Many pieces are produced in small quantities, and some prints may not return once the fabric is gone.
For us, that is part of the appeal. A wardrobe feels more personal when every piece does not look like something everyone else already owns.
More Than One Occasion
We do not believe African print should be saved for one type of event.
Wear it to a wedding. Wear it to church. Wear it on holiday. Wear it to dinner. Wear it with trainers on an ordinary Saturday if that is what you feel like doing.
The purpose of Ivamari is not to tell you when bold print is appropriate.
It is to give you more reasons to enjoy wearing it.
