Ivamari is a print led womenswear brand built around colour, distinctive fabric and clothes that make everyday dressing feel more enjoyable.
Our collections currently focus on African print and Ankara clothing, from wrap dresses and shirt dresses to occasion styles, matching sets, tops and separates. We are drawn to clothing that feels expressive without becoming difficult to wear.
The aim is not to create a wardrobe that only works for special occasions. We want the same love of print to have a place at weddings, church, dinners, holidays, work and ordinary days too.
Why Ankara
Ankara wax print sits at the heart of Ivamari because of the colour, structure and personality it brings to clothing.
A familiar silhouette can feel completely different once it is cut in a strong print. A shirt dress becomes more memorable. A wrap dress gains more character. A simple top can carry an entire outfit.
Most of our current collection is made from 100% cotton Ankara wax print, with individual fabric composition listed on each product page.
Designed Around Different Ways of Dressing
We know one silhouette will never work for everyone.
Some women prefer a defined waist. Others want a relaxed shape. Some want sleeves and coverage. Others are looking for something more fitted for an occasion.
That is why Ivamari brings together different cuts, lengths and levels of structure rather than building the whole collection around one idea of how a woman should dress.
Selected styles are available from XS to 4XL, with fit notes and model sizing included on individual product pages.
Small Batches, Gradual Growth
Ivamari is being built slowly and deliberately.
We release new prints and styles in considered quantities rather than filling the store with hundreds of interchangeable products at once.
Some designs are produced in small batches and may not return once a particular fabric is sold out. Others may be offered for preorder as the collection grows.
This allows us to keep introducing something new while staying focused on the silhouettes and prints that genuinely belong in the Ivamari wardrobe.

At the centre of Ivamari is a simple idea.
Clothes should make getting dressed feel better.
